00:08:53 adachen: Longer term (eg. More than day by day) thinking/structuring around to dos and goals (same as what I posted on FB) and also what to do with backlog/inspiration/random ideas
00:08:55 geenawakeley: I’m week 1 in unemployment and find myself almost trying to be too productive, over committing to what I want to accomplish and then feeling disappointed or behind when I don’t get to what I wanted too.
00:09:33 wendyavenius: I’m usually pretty good about scheduling my days and tasks, however with the new “virus” world we are living in, finding it more difficult to prioritize my time with everyone else’s needs and somewhat “unstructured” days. Also trying to be easier on myself, with all going on these days. Any thoughts?
00:13:39 wendyavenius: Not sure if helpful, but I’ve used a project management system for my personal use while on my job search – keeps you accountable – it’s called Asana and it’s free. Sends you daily reminders on what’s on your list – can be adjusted.
00:14:47 geenawakeley: I love Asana! I like to use Trello too.
00:27:50 wendyavenius: I need help there too Ada! All in my head currently – which isn’t very reliable!
00:28:31 geenawakeley: I keep a screenshot folder on my phone. Like if I am browsing instagram or something on the internet that I want to remember to go back to
00:29:11 wendyavenius: Maybe make that part of your monthly check-in?
00:35:43 adachen: I, too, hate when everyone asks how my search is going! It makes me feel like I should have some sort of progress or answer
01:31:58 Lauren W: I love determined
01:32:36 adachen: Determined reminds me of the success kid meme! https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fmemecrunch.com%2Fmeme%2FC1IQF%2Fyou-got-this&psig=AOvVaw34kRLn3oh994IAuBwpPUjJ&ust=1585936851308000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAIQjRxqFwoTCNCHwKipyugCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD
01:33:06 wendyavenius: Love it, Ada!
