00:18:12 Kelley Jabr: Gosh, I can relate to this SO MUCH, Gyasi. <3
00:21:48 Belma McCaffrey: Journaling / letting it out are such great tools to acknowledge what you’re feeling / thinking.
00:25:25 Aleta Williams: Being a perfectionist myself, I hear Belma saying done is better than perfect.
00:25:47 Belma McCaffrey: Yes! And it sounds like just taking the first baby step was helpful
00:27:43 Kayla Morton: Taking time for your self between jobs is important. I’m planning to take time after my final day of work for myself. I want to heal and not bring toxicity with me to my next step.
00:29:03 Rachel Derman: I really relate to your experience with perfectionism — deviating from that default can be scary and definitely takes practice. Some thing I work to stay conscious of and committed to all the time.
00:32:10 Aleta Williams: I am enjoying this. I have been where you are many times but I was forced to leave or was so frustrated I left. I need to be more aware of myself and deciding to change and taking steps to do that. Thank you Gyasi.
00:32:43 Belma McCaffrey: That’s the developer in you Gyasi!!!
00:35:41 Belma McCaffrey: The self inquiry is so powerful <3
00:36:41 Belma McCaffrey: Celebration reinforces our success! It’s so important (and often challenging for so many of us)
00:39:58 Belma McCaffrey: Allowing! And observing <3
00:41:08 Aleta Williams: Normal to be scared, normal to be nervous
00:46:34 Melody Mokhtarian: I have to jump off, but thank you for sharing. Be well everyone!
00:55:35 Aliza Willner: I like experimenting rather than being scattered or all over the place professionally. I am definitely in that same boat and while that agility and ability to experiment and change has been valued in some places, it hasn’t been everywhere
00:56:54 Sylvia Arias: Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful insights and valuable experiences Gyasi.
00:56:55 Kayla Morton: What really hit me is that perfectionism can hinder progress in all areas of life. I think where perfectionism stops is when creativity can grow. Also, I realize it is important for me to see myself as someone who is not defined by how perfect they are ,but the how their values shine through and help others.
00:58:05 Kelley Jabr: Love that, Kayla!!
00:58:43 Aleta Williams: I remember when you joined Gyasi and I see the difference. Your face use to show frustration and now looks peaceful. Good job!!!
00:59:37 Kayla Morton: Thank you, Gyasi ! You’re insights really help me see my experiences in another light. Be encouraged and keep fighting the good fight for your peace and purpose !
